THE TEACHER                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

Teacher, one who shows you the light

Torch that she lights to choose your path

Teaching with cane, pupil fear

Tongue is what I fear the most.      

Failed in chemistry test once

Fetched me big zero I recollect

Frantic was my teacher’s reaction

Firing words heavier than bullets

Bleeding with agony and pain

Burden I shared with my mom

Brought peace in my mind

Better study well was her advice.

Equations teacher had in mind.

Einstein failed to invent

Everlasting catalyst was those words

Ever green it made my life

Challenging seas I traverse now

Challenged by obstacles I face

Catalyst, she appears at the horizon

Changes my vision and mission

The Teacher who made the difference

Thank you , emanate from my heart  with gratitude

To the gardener who brought springs in my life

To the teacher I admire with respect and repute.

On this function today we gather

Old memories that we share

Old teachers has come to bless us

Oh god I bow them who showed us the light.
